2 cans Bavarian-style sauerkraut - (27 oz ea)
2 pounds Polish kielbasa sausage
cut into 3" pieces
1 medium onion
separated into rings
1 teaspoon instant chicken bouillon
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
Directions: one line for each direction. When saved the lines will be numbered.
In bottom of slow cooking pot, layer 1 can sauerkraut, 1 pound of the sausage pieces, half the onion slices, 1/2 teaspoon boulllon and 1/4 teaspoon celery seed. Repeat layers.
Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 9 hours or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours. Serve with boiled potatoes and an apple raisin salad.
This recipe yields 6 servings.
