Ingredients:

4     slices        bacon - (to 6)
1     large         onion
2     cans          chopped tomatoes - (15 oz ea)
1     cup           converted rice
1/2   cup           chopped cooked ham - (to 1 cup)
                    Salt
                    Freshly-ground black pepper
1/8   teaspoon      hot pepper sauce
Directions: one line for each direction. When saved the lines will be numbered.
  1. Fry bacon; drain and crumble. Cook onion in bacon grease just until softened. Combine all ingredients in the crockpot. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 7 hours, or until rice is tender but not mushy.

  2. This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
