Ingredients:

2     cups          hot water
3     cups          beer
1     pound         pinto beans
1     tablespoon    freshly-ground black pepper
1     tablespoon    garlic powder
1     tablespoon    cumin
1     tablespoon    seasoning salt
1     1 1/4 ounces  taco seasoning mix
1/2   cup           chopped onions
2                   hot peppers - (to 3)
2     teaspoons     lemon juice
1     pound         Cheddar cheese
Directions: one line for each direction. When saved the lines will be numbered.
  1. Place water and beer in slow cooker. Stir in beans, black pepper, garlic powder, cumin and seasoning salt. Cook on HIGH 5 to 7 hours or until beans are soft enough to mash.

  2. Mash bean mixture; add taco seasoning, onions, hot peppers, lemon juice and cheddar sheese. Stir until all ingredients are well blended. Chill before serving.

  3. This recipe yields ?? servings.
