Ingredients:

2     teaspoons     olive oil
4                   hot Italian turkey sausages
2                   garlic cloves
1     cup           low-sodium chicken broth
1/4   teaspoon      crushed red pepper flakes
8     cups          chopped cleaned broccoli rabe -
4     cups          hot cooked penne
2     tablespoons   grated Parmesan cheese
Directions: one line for each direction. When saved the lines will be numbered.
  1. In a large nonstick skillet, heat the oil. Add the sausages and garlic; cook, stirring as needed, until the sausages are browned and crumbled, 6 to 8 minutes.

  2. Add the broth and pepper flakes; bring to a boil, scraping up the browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Stir in the broccoli rabe; reduce the heat and simmer, covered, stirring as needed, until the broccoli rabe is wilted, 5 to 6 minutes.

  3. Serve the penne, topped with the sausage mixture; sprinkle with the cheese.

  4. This recipe yields 4 servings.
