4 eggs
4 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese - (to 1/2)
1 cup grated Swiss cheese
2 teaspoons dried minced onion
Directions: one line for each direction. When saved the lines will be numbered.
In a medium bowl, mix eggs, flour, milk, Parmesan cheese, Swiss cheese and minced onion.
Pour into lightly greased quiche dish or pie plate which holds 1 1/2 quarts.
Bake at 325 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until puffed and golden.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
Variations:
• Add 1/2 cup chopped ham
• Add 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
• Add 1 package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
• Add 1 can sliced mushrooms or 1/2 cup fresh sauteed mushrooms
• Add 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Do Ahead Tip: Prepare mixture and pour into greased pans. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Allow to sit at room temperature before baking.
