Ingredients:

1/2   cup           biscuit mix
3                   eggs
1/2   cup           butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups          half-and-half or milk
1/4   cup           Parmesan cheese
1     tablespoon    dried minced onion
1/2   teaspoon      dried mustard
1/4   teaspoon      salt
1/4   teaspoon      Italian seasonings
1/8   teaspoon      freshly-ground black pepper
1/8   teaspoon      nutmeg
1 1/2 cups          shredded Swiss or Monterey Jack cheese
1     cup           diced ham
Directions: one line for each direction. When saved the lines will be numbered.
  1. In a medium bowl, mix biscuit mix, eggs, butter, half-and-half (or milk), Parmesan cheese, onion, mustard, salt and pepper. Or mix in a blender or food processor for 30 seconds.

  2. Sprinkle cheese and ham on the bottom of a lightly greased 9-inch pie plate or fluted quiche dish. Pour egg mixture over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

  3. This recipe yields 4 servings.

  4. Variations: • Substitute 6 ounces cooked bulk sausage for ham. • Substitute 8 to 10 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled, for ham. • Substitute 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese for Swiss. • Add 1 package frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry. • Add 1 medium onion, chopped, sauteed and drained. • Add 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms, sauteed and drained.
