Ingredients:

1     pound         ground lamb, beef or chicken
1     slice         stale bread
2     tablespoons   chopped feta cheese
1                   onion
                    Salt
                    Freshly-ground black pepper
                    Crushed dried mint leaves
1/2   cup           flour
1     cup           oil
Directions: one line for each direction. When saved the lines will be numbered.
  1. Combine meat, bread, feta cheese, onion, salt, pepper and mint to taste. Form into 1/2-inch thick patties, cylinders or balls. Roll in flour and fry in oil heated to 350 to 365 degrees.

  2. Serve these hot with French fries or mashed potatoes.

  3. This recipe yields 4 servings.
