1 1/2 cups apple pie filling - (14 oz)
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon Tabasco brand Habanero Pepper Sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper
40 shrimp - (2 lbs)
and tails left on
8 skewers
Directions: one line for each direction. When saved the lines will be numbered.
To prepare the glaze, place apple pie filling in a food processor or blender and puree until smooth. Add oil, Tabasco brand Habanero Pepper Sauce, salt and pepper.
Place 5 shrimp per skewer and brush with 1 cup of the glaze. Allow to marinate for 20 minutes.
Grill shrimp skewers over high heat for 2 minutes per side. Remove from heat and brush with the remaining glaze.
This recipe yields 8 servings.
